Short Escape & Activities
At Lembongan Beach Club & Resort we offer a large range of activities for the adventurous or those wishing to enjoy a more leisurely pace. Nusa Lembongan lends itself to enjoying the outdoors, with plenty of variety of choices of activities to pursue.
Nusa Lembongan was first opened up as a tourist destination by surfers, and it has long been an established part of the Bali surf circuit. There are three main surf breaks, Playgrounds, Lacerations and Shipwrecks, all located at the top half of the west coast, with another less well known break to the southwest off Nusa Ceningan. is nestled below cliffs offering good SE trade protection; this is the most user friendly surf spot on Nusa Lembongan. Continues to break at lower tides, is a little bit deeper and offers more wall to work as opposed to the flat out barrels nearby. The lefts are better with a few lip-bashing opportunities along a tapered wall, while the rights may pitch slightly, but fade quickly.
is a hard core right with excellent, wide open tube time on offer as the tide floods the sharp, shallow reef. It’s a pitching, air-drop entry from the peak into a straight barrel section then a further sucky bowl as it approaches the channel.
is often non-existent on the lower tides, but starts breaking on the push from mid to high tide, when sets can rear up out of nowhere, peeling fast with a high, tight barrel then a big open Shoulder. Strong currents and sneaky clean up sets can make Shipwrecks tricky to surf.
is a flat day novelty wave... Don’t even bother unless it’s totally flat! All breaks are best accessed by the many “surf taxi” boats that are easy to find up and down “Jungut Batu Beach” directly in front of Lembongan Beach Club & Rest Surfing Lessons
They start with 30min exercise on the sand to get the basics of how to lay on the board, paddle etc. Then we catch a boat to the surf break to practice in the water for around 2 hours. The goal is to stand on the board of course, and the instructors are here to help you succeed and correct your mistakes.
Start with 30min theory (weather conditions, how the waves break, surf rules etc). Then we catch a boat to the surf break to practice in the water around 2hours. The instructors are here to analyse the way you surf and correct the mistakes. They also teach you new skills (such as how to turn, get speed, etc) to bring you to the next level.
